In the meantime, CPI(M) chief Sitaram Yechury mentioned, “Whenever he (HD Deve Gowda) talks to me he says that it is only their party which has the word ‘secular’ in it. He added, so how can I go with BJP? Now he has gone with the BJP. Now we know what is his commitment to secularism.”
