A forty five-year-old safety safeguard of an upscale family was once taken into custody next a CCTV video clip was once broadly shared on social media on Monday, by which the safeguard was once purportedly detectable allegedly sexually harassing an 8-year-old woman in Noida’s Sector 113 on Sunday night time, police stated, including that the video went viral on Monday.
A senior police officer stated, “The child, a student of class 2, resides with her family at the high-rise society under the jurisdiction of Sector 113 police station. On Monday, a CCTV video of the alleged incident was widely shared on a society residents’ group and in it, the security guard was purportedly seen touching the girl inappropriately while she was standing alone on the society premises,” stated the officer.
“After the girl’s parents and society members approached the police, we took the guard into police custody,” the officer stated.
A resident of the family, who refused to be named, stated, “On Monday, we came to know about the heinous incident after seeing the CCTV footage. We then approached the police against the guard.”
“After the incident, the girl was found in a terrified and was counselled.Later, she slowly revealed her ordeal,” the resident stated.
“Recently, on October 3, the entire deployment of security guards at the society was changed after a dispute between two groups. How do we feel safe when security guards themselves commit such acts?” the resident stated.
Sector 113, station area officer, Sarvesh Kumar stated, “The guard was taken into custody on the residents’ complaint. The DVR of the society’s CCTV camera has been seized for further investigation.”
