A Pakistani drone, wearing a suspected contraband merchandise, was once recovered in Tarn Taran district, in a joint operation via the Border Safety Power (BSF) and Punjab Police on Tuesday, mentioned officers.
The BSF mentioned that on Tuesday round 11:28 am, it intercepted the motion of a suspected drone related Wan village in Tarn Taran.
“As per the laid down drill, BSF troops immediately reacted to intercept the drone,” mentioned a remark issued via the BSF.
“Further, a joint search operation with the Punjab Police was carried out. During the search at about 12:15 pm, a broken drone with a packet of suspected contraband and a battery (5000 mAH) of the drone was recovered from a field adjacent to the village,” the remark added.
The BSF officers mentioned that the recovered drone is a Quadcopter of fashion DJI Mavic 3 Vintage.
